Nowe połączenie Berlin-Monachium. Geneza i charakterystyka infrastruktury

Abstract
On 10 December 2017 started passenger high speed service on the newly built section between Ebensfeld and Erfurt 107 km length. In this way a completion of the great communications VDE 8 project ended (Verkehrsprojekt Deutsche Einheit No. 8), creating the new rail link of Berlin with Nuernberg. The new route is used by ICE trains running in the connection – Munich–Berlin–Hamburg. In the article an outline of the history and of the development of rail links was described between Berlin and Munich and assumptions and the implementations of investment being included into composition in a VDE 8 project.
