Abstract
On “The Text of Culture” In contemporary discourse within the humanities, we often encounter changes in the meanings and functions of numerous terms and concepts. “A text of culture” is a case in point. In this paper, I explore to the meaning and function of the concept of “a text of culture”, as developed in the research of Tartu-Moscow school. I also highlight current differences in the interpretation and methods of functionalizing this concept, especially in the theory and practice of education in almost all stages of education.
