Abstract
George Astaloș a murit, pe 27 aprilie 2014, lăsându-ne mai săraci, mai singuri și, mai ales, mai triști, căci boemul poet, dramaturg, romancier, eseist era înzestrat cu un deosebit simţ al umorului, prezenţă constantă în scrierile sale, de la titlurile unora dintre ele (Fie pâinea cât de rea, tot mai bine-i la Paris sau Mirosul banilor. Epopeea fiscală a unui român de pe malul Senei, roman epistolar), până la piesele de teatru, de la versurile sale (mai ales cele din Cânturi de ocnă), până la interviurile şi apariţiile sale publice.
