ORGANIZAÇÃO SOCIAL, CORRUPÇÃO E/OU TRANSFORMAÇÃO? OS SENTIDOS DA POLÍTICA PARA JOVENS UNIVERSITÁRIOS

Abstract
In this paper, we analyze the meanings that youth university students from Paraná, Brazil assign to the politics, in order to understand this dimension beyond a formal and partisan institution. Data were produced from interviews conducted with 18 university students of Pedagogy and History at the State University of Paraná. The research was carried out during a period of political, economic and social effervescence in Brazil, marked by movements such as Dilma Rousseff's impeachment in 2016, and the strikes of the Paraná's civil servants in 2015 and 2016, besides the movement of occupation of schools and universities by young people, among others. For data analysis we elaborated three axes that allow to understand trends in the relations of the youth with the politic dimension. The results highlight the multiplicity of meanings and experiences of the youngers regarding politics, and express that such dimension is understood sometimes as a structure of society, sometimes as an institution and practices associated with corruption, and even as an element linked to the emancipation of subjects and the transformation of society.
