Journal Title: Rehabilitacja w Praktyce - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 6

Abstract

According to the latest reports, a significant population suffers from subclinical defects of the foot, apart from conditions of various degree such as clubfoot, congenital planovalgus foot or hollow foot. These disorders do not seem to cause significant distress and do not limit everyday activities, however they may significantly disturb the locomotor function, causing overloads at the upper levels of the musculoskeletal system, moreover, they can lead to the deformation of the foot itself such as hallux valgus.
