PECULIARITIES OF INTELLIGENTIA’S EDUCATIONAL-PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITIES IN THE SOUTHERN UKRAINE IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE XIXth – AND EARLY XXth CENTURIES

Abstract

The article deals with peculiarities of intelligentsia’s educational-pedagogical activities in the South of Ukraine in the second half of XIX – early XX centuries. The intelligentsia’s activity of the Southern Ukraine contributed to the improvement of the profes-sional schools, aid societies, the organization of temporary housing for the homeless, immigrants and workers, reference offices for job search. The peculiarity of the multicultural educational space of the South of Ukraine in the second half of XIXth – early XXth centuries can be traced in the fact that parents’ regarding changed the education under the influence of German, Greek, Jewish communities in relation to girls’ education in the public schools, boarding schools, institutions. Stressed that Museums contributed to the creation of multicultural educational environment for a single social system, which contributed to education and formation of values and moral norms of an individual to meet a range of needs.
