Pemberdayaan Keterampilan Argumentasi Mendorong Pemahaman Konsep Siswa

Abstract

Research aimed at empowering the skills of argument encourage understanding of the concept of students on material floating and sinking. The study focused on 1) the identification of weaknesses empowerment argumentation skills and 2) identification of students' understanding of the concept of after-powered argumentation skills. The study population was high school students of class XI of Bandar Lampung. Samples using cluster random sampling technique for the two classes. The results showed that the students have a tendency to focus empower all elements of the claim without argumentation skills, this affects the weak understanding of the concept of matter floating and sinking in students. Ideally empowerment argumentation skills as a whole have an impact on the expansion of students' understanding of the concept. The results of the study as a reference in making improvements in future studies in order to obtain positive changes empowering the skills of argument that directly improve students' understanding of the concept becomes better
