PLANO DE DESENVOLVIMENTO DA EDUCAÇÃO: UM CAMINHO A SER ANALISADO

Abstract

Th is article presents the PDE (Plano de Desenvolvimento da Educação – Education Development Plan), in particular the Decree nº 6094 of 24 April 2007, which deals, in a succinct way, with the implementation of a TPE (Plano de Metas Compromisso Todos pela Educação, Plan of Education towards a Commitment to All Goals), so as to provide an objective reading of these plan. Th e plan also shows some actions being taken by the Brazilian Ministry of Education to make the PDE and the TPE successful. It discusses some intervening aspects of the PDE, which enables one to realize the need for the participation of society, as well as the Federal Union, Municipalities, the Federal District, and states, in order to eff ect an improvement in the quality of Basic Education in Brazil.
