Preparation and Application of Selective Detection Paper for Salicylic Acid

Abstract
Making use of the interaction of ethylenediamine-functionalized polymethylmethacrylate ( EDAPMMA) , salicylic acid and PMMA, a selective detection paper for salicylic acid was prepared. The effects of PMMA mass froction, adsorption time and p H on the determination performance of salicylic acid detection paper were investigated. The results show that when the prepared detection paper is used to measure the salicylic acid solution, the linear range for salicylic acid solution is 50 ~ 2 200 μmol/L, and the detection limit is 48 μmol/L. The relative standard deviation of six determinations is 2. 86% when measuring 250 μmol/L salicylic acid solutions.
