PROBLEMS IN USING THE INPUT-OUTPUT MODEL FOR PROJECTING THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF THE BULGARIAN ECONOMY

Journal Title: Economics. Law. State - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 2

Abstract

For a long time the input-output model (or so called the balance of interbranch connections) is used in multiple countries for not only forecasting their future development but for planning it. One of these counties is Bulgaria. After a period of turbulence in the political and economic life, when this tool was forgotten, today it is popular again. But unfortunately occurs the existence of problems with methodological and informational character which make it difficult to use the full capabilities of the model.
