Profesor Stanisław Frycie, nauczyciel wielu pokoleń (1933–2013)

Abstract

Stanisław Frycie was born on April 21, 1933 in Włyń, Sieradz land. In 1956 he graduated from Pedagogical University in Warsaw. He received PhD in 1963 and in 1979 the title of associate professor. Between 1956-1963 he was a Polish language teacher and a headmaster of Pedagogical High School in Wolbórz. He worked at Pedagogical University in Rzeszów between 1963-1972. From 1990 till 2005 he worked in Piotrków Trybunalski where he opened Polish Philology studies. He was the associate professor there between 1991-1992 and from October 1, 1992 Professor Frycie was employed in Piotrków as a full professor. Professor Stanisław Frycie died on May 14, 2013. His rich scientific and academic advances comprise dissertations on literature for children and the youth, theatre, literary life, literary criticism, Polish language didactics and numerous issues on pedeutology and teaching methods.
