ПРОГРАМА «ФІЛОСОФІЯ ДЛЯ ДІТЕЙ» У ВИМІРІ НОВОЇ УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ ШКОЛИ

Abstract

The social challenges that cause reform of the educational system in Ukraine have been determined in the article. The basis of the concept of “New Ukrainian School” is aimed at formation of completely developed personality that is a patriot with the active position and an innovator, he can think critically, make appropriate decisions, change the world around and act in accordance with moral and ethical principles, that are outlined in the work. It has been proved that the use of the means of the International educational program “Philosophy for Children” will contribute to the achievement of this goal. The pedagogical strategy of implementation of this program (problem-based forms of learning, “Socratic dialogue”, the method of “community of researchers”, finding world-view problems in unexpected, paradoxical situations through games, humor, metaphors, interesting subjects) has been determined, and it helps to form four types of thinking, namely: collective, caring, critical, creative. The article focuses on changing the teacher’s mission that means training for getting constructing knowledge, denoting the problem field, stimulating and organizing the search in the unknown, while remaining an equal member of “community of researchers”. The ways of implementation of program “Philosophy for Children” in the framework of practical implementation of the concept of “New Ukrainian School” have been outlined.
