Psychological Aspects of the Formation of Gender Roles in the Period of Preschool Childhood

Abstract
The article deals with the formation of gender roles in preschool children. The author discusses the definition of the concepts of “gender,” “role” and psychological mechanisms underlying the formation of gender role in preschoolers in the conditions of interaction between the family and institutions of preschool education.
