Journal Title: Health Science and Management - Year 2024, Vol 3, Issue 1
Abstract
By using the method of literature review and logical analysis, this paper makes a summary and analysis of the relevant literature. The research shows that resistance training can improve the bone composition of middle-aged and elderly people and effectively prevent bone loss of middle-aged and elderly men and postmenopausal women; There are different conclusions in the study of the influence of resistance training on bone mineral density and the changes of bone metabolism indexes in middle-aged and elderly people. Designing a reasonable and effective resistance training program for middle-aged and elderly people needs to comprehensively consider the load, load intensity, movement speed, intervention time, training items and other influencing variables of the training program. Whether resistance training combined with jumping and impact exercise, dietary nutrition, drug supplementation and so on will produce the superposition effect of bone composition improvement needs further study and confirmation.
