Abstract
The article deals with the role and position of military political institutions in Russia during the flow of revolutionary events in 1917. It specifically focuses on the Military ministry’s staff reaction to the political overturn, and their adaptation to the new environment of functioning. Evolution of the state’s military bureaucratic structures in the process of the political conflict is put under analysis, as well as various aspects of their reformation.
