SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL RATIONALE FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE NATIONAL REGULATORY FRAMEWORK FOR RESTRICTING EXPOSE TO THE POPULATION FROM SOURCES OF IONIZING RADIATION

Abstract

The requirements of international and European organizations on radiation safety and the state of the domestic system of state regulation of nuclear and radiation safety are analyzed. Problems in the national legislation on radia-tion safety, which need to be addressed in accordance with the current EU directive requirements, are highlighted.
