SEA-LAND MULTIMODAL TRANSPORTATION THROUGH POLISH SEA PORTS

Abstract

The multimodal transportation is proved to be the last word in modem tendencies occurring in transport. The tendencies consisting in withdrawal from traditional, branches treatment of transportation and beginning of taking that process as a whole, closely linked inside. On the other hand, the mentioned trends lie in technological, technical and organizational progress which has taken place recently in general cargo transportation.
