Abstract
School Ability through the Perspective of Primary School Teachers The paper presents a partial output of the research done by students of primary school education as a part of their diploma theses. It focuses on school readiness through the perspective of primary school teachers, provides description of nursery and primary school, explains the concepts of school maturity, school readiness and ability in the theory and practice of the Slovak school system. It also provides initial findings of the research based on questionnaire distributed to primary school teachers.
