THE EXPERIENCE OF FORMING A CONCEPTUAL AND CONTENT COMPONENT OF CADETS’ READINESS FOR MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY IN THE INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION OF THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS SYSTEM OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article summarizes the experience of forming a conceptual and content component of cadets’ readiness for management activity in the process of their professional training in the institutions of higher education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system of Ukraine. The cognitive criterion essence of readiness for management activity, which corresponds to the conceptual and content component of this quality, is substantiated. This criterion determines the future officers’ level of proficiency in professional knowledge on the managerial activity problems, the adoption of managerial decisions; the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in the process of professional and personal self-development. The following indicators of the criterion are defined: knowledge of the officer's administrative activities specifics, possession of a thesaurus on the problems of management activities, strength and systematic knowledge of management activities. The author of the article presents the experience of forming the corresponding criterion by enriching the content of professional disciplines with material on management activity problems, working out the problem modules to absorb information about the peculiarities of managerial activity in the law-enforcement sphere, developing of educational and methodological support for the study of professional disciplines, updating the training forms and methods (professionally oriented tasks, discussions, work in small groups, conclusion of a thesaurus, etc.) during conducting practical and seminars taking into account the peculiarities of the future officers' managerial functions, the intensification of independent study and research work within the scientific club activity, providing the cadets with the electronic version of "methodological portfolio", motivating to make their own portfolios.
