The feat of Russian mathematicians: stories for patriotic education.

Abstract
Analyzes the features of Patriotic education of the younger generation of Russians in conditions of society's Informatiza-tion. Describes the opportunity for the Patriotic education of students in the classes of higher mathematics. Discusses the etymology of the term "patriotism"; the views of classics of science and modern views on the role of Patriotic education in General and in particular when teaching mathematics. Provides a biography of two famous Russian scientists–mathematicians: Nicholas Erugin and Nikolai Sapogov. Given their biographical data; describes participation in the great Patriotic war, the contribution of both scientists in mathematical science; examines the list of the most significant textbooks and manuals. Undoubtedly, patriotism is connected with the military feat of the Soviet people, who made a decisive contribution to the victory over fascism. This is especially true now, when, unfortunately, the interest in the ideology of Nazism is reviv-ing. Patriotic education of students in classes in higher mathematics on the basis of demonstrat-ing the military feat of well-known domestic mathematicians is an important area of modern pedagogical science; In our opinion, one of the possible ways of opposing the pernicious influ-ence of propaganda aimed at destroying the life foundations of the representatives of the Rus-sian world.
