Abstract
The article presents results of the research of the collection of the National Museum of History of Ukraine on the theme “Judaica: rarities of rites and the daily life of the Jewish community of Ukraine in 19th – the first third of the 20th century”. The purpose of the research is to introduce into the scholarship of the information about the collection of the museum that has been scarcely researched. The researched collection consists, first, of numerous museum objects made of non-precious metals for synagogues. Another interesting part of the collection consists of ethnography items and Jewish holly books. Presentation of the history of the collection and its review are among main results of the article. The study of exposition perspectives of the collection is among other original results of the proposed article.
