THE IMAGE OF THE VOLОDKA DOVBENKO AS THE INCREMENT OF THE UKRAINIAN NATIONAL IDEA IN THE TRILOGY "VOLYN" ULAS SAMCHUK

Abstract
The article analyzes the peculiarities of the embodiment of the Ukrainian national idea in the image of Volodka Dovbenko in the trilogy "Volyn" by Ulas Samchuk. Substantially meaningful motive of knowledge of the world in the mainstream of the national aspiration of the character of the novel. The problem of Ukrainian national identity is considered.
