THE INFLUENCE OF POLYMORPHISM ASP299GLY OF TLR4 GENE AND GLN11LEU OF TLR7 GENE ON THE EFFICIENCY OF ANTIVIRAL THERAPY OF CHRONIC HEPATITIS C

Journal Title: Гепатологія - Year 2016, Vol 32, Issue 2

Abstract

Th e aim of the study was to analyze the infl uence of polymorphism Asp299Gly of TLR4 gene and Gln11Leu of TLR7 gene on the eff ectiveness of antiviral therapy (AVT) of chronic hepatitis C (CHC) with pegylated interferon (PEG-IFN) and rib- avirin (RBV). To achieve this goal we conducted a prospective cohort study of 125 patients with CHC. Th e study found: that the presence of polymorphism Asp299G- ly of TLR4 gene in patients with HCV aff ects the effi ciency of the AVT PEG-IFN- RBV: а frequency to achieve an early virological response is reduced in 1.3 (p=0.018; rS= –0.237, p=0.008), direct – in 1.5 (p=0.020; rS=–0.259, p=0.008), sustained – in 1.5 (р=0,020; r= –0.226, р=0.015) times. No identifi ed а statistically signifi cant diff erence between the effi ciency of the AVT PEG-IFN-RBV in CHC with «wild» Gln11Gln and «mutant» Gln11Leu+Leu11Leu genotypes of TLR7 gene.
