The problem of physical and psychological endurance of future specialists of law enforcement agencies

Abstract
The article emphasizes the need to overcome the contradiction between increasing the need for psychological and physical endurance of cadets in conditions of growing danger (near-war situation and martial law) and too soft and uncoordinated standards of psycho-pedagogical and training processes at higher cadet schools. The necessity of increase of psychological and physical endurance of cadets of law enforcement institutions of higher education was considered. The analysis of the factors and reasons that prevent young people from gaining psychological and physical endurance led the authors to believe that the main disadvantages of their vocational education are imperfect evaluation mindset on their own physical condition. The absence of self-perception as the bearer of perfect physical and mental characteristics in the general worldview of cadets was stated, so there is an attitude on permanent exercising physical and mental culture as to the matter to be built on the self-control, rather than on the daily satisfaction of the natural motor and psycho-emotional needs of a human. It was proved that formation of the corrected attitude on sports activities at future specialists of law enforcement agencies is a needed prerequisite for the support and development of physical and psychological endurance, the main subjects of which are both cadets and guarantors of educational programs. One of the important factors of sports and physical training as a tool for the development of psychological and physical endurance is the participation in sports competitions that allow continuous monitoring of motor and psycho-emotional state, stimulates and organizes life, builds an adequate sports and physical self-appraisal, increases the body tone and expands the circle of professional and personal communications throughout life Among the motives of participation in sports competitions there is: an interest in new experiences from unusual and unexpected events during sports events; the opportunity to receive new information and exchange views of representatives of one subculture; interesting meetings with new people; immersion in another cultural or natural environment; the prospect of getting positive emotions and the opportunity to entertain.
