Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of A. Block’s play “Little Show-Booth” as an artistic whole. The value center of this work is the problem of the word that tends to the ancient Logos, which carries the intention of transforming reality. The world of art is interpreted in the drama as the multiplicity of transformations. But these transformations are a simulation, since there are uncertainties in the world. The author reveals the tragic nature of the existence of the active world within the literary reality.
