Journal Title: Наукові праці. Серія "Політологія" - Year 2016, Vol 284, Issue 272
Abstract
The subject of this research are main trends of civil society development at the present stage of development of Ukraine. Political and socio-economic spheres of the Ukrainian society are in crisis. This explains the relevance of the study of this problem. We set ourselves the task of reviewing the latest indicators of development of civil process in Ukraine by the international organization Freedom House. We note the absence of conceptual comprehension of the category of «civil society» at the state level. We use a systematic approach to the study of society as an organic system. For formation of effective state policy regarding the development and support of tendencies of development of civil society is necessary, there is a need for a clear definition of their own concept. The practice of political reality in the country shows that the General democratic slogans are just words that do not contain constructive and efficient ways of building civil society. American researcher Juliana Pilon, the phenomenon of the manipulation of democratic slogans calls «linguistic terrorism». We suggest using a national idea as the Foundation for building civil society.
