The Processıng of Load Cell Response Sıgnals for Fast Weıghıng
Journal Title: Gazi Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Dergisi Part C: Tasarım ve Teknoloji - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
In this study, the response signals of beam type load cells which are preferred in industrial weighing systems are investigated and structural dynamics equation of motions are solved numerically to determine the steady state load level swiftly. The determination of weight before the damping of highly oscillated signal response in the load cell output is important for fast weighing determination. In this study, TEDEA 1042 load cell response signals are acquired by the use of NI PCI 6221 DAQ card and data is used as input to numerically solved structural dynamics equation of motion. Literature and experimental work results are used for the verification of the method. Experimental results showed that the method can be applicable to fast weighing machines.
