TO THE QUESTION OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE ADVOCACY AS THE INSTITUTE OF THE LEGAL SYSTEM OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article considers the function of the advocacy as a socially significant institution of the legal system, which has a significant impact on the development of both the state and civil society. The conditions that determine the functionality of the advocacy are differentiated. Taking into account the analysis of scientific positions and the current legislation of Ukraine, as well as international practice, the main functions of the advocacy are formulated and substantively disclosed, which, in the author's opinion, are the function of protection, representation and the counseling functions.
