TRANSFORMATION OF PHILOSOPHICAL APPROACHES TO THE SPECIFIC METHODICAL CONCEPT IN EDUCATIONAL PROCESS AT A HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION

Abstract

The analysis of the modern research results in the field of natural sciences and the main philosophical categories and concepts is carried out. The electronic course as the source of educational information (SEI) on discipline «Methodological fundamentals of natural sciences» is created. This development is offered to be used for senior students (undergraduates). The object of the research is connected with the process enabling the transformation of philosophical approaches to the specific methodical concept in educational process. One of the SEI types as a system of the visual oriented frames (VOF) ‒ in the form of information multimedia slides, video tasks, video exercises, series of test questions ‒ is developed. Approbation of VOF at the State Environmental University (Odessa), Oles Honchar Dnipropetrovsk National University (Dnipro), Taras Shevchenko National University «Chernihiv Collegium» (Chernihiv) has been carried out. The students motivated to study were acquainted with the specificity of participation in the pedagogical experiment. They demonstrated their desire to deepen their own knowledge, abilities as well as to expand their erudition. These students (53 persons) constituted the experimental group (EG). A certain number of students (it was the control group ‒ KG) demonstrated their desire to participate in the experiment. There we only traced dynamics of the cognitive state and change of characteristics of this students group. For the last academic year (2016-2017) the number of the students equaled 51 persons. The dynamics of changes in indicators which quantitatively characterized accomplishment of tasks during the research practice was defined. One of these integral indicators corresponded to the speed of fulfilling a certain test, the other ones – pointed to the number of the made mistakes, the third ones – illustrated the number of creative offers, etc. At the beginning of the pedagogical experiment, the majority of numerical characteristics for the KG and EG were almost identical. For the EG students, some positive dynamics of the specified parameters was observed at the end of the academic year. In the KG, some stabilization of testing results was noted. At the second (motivational and reflexive) stage, the emotional-and-valuable criterion was the basic one. It was found out that the use of audiovisual training methods allowed relying on the knowledge and abilities which had been previously gained. The work with scientific slides allowed us to define, how a specially created situation could solve the main task of saturation by means of information: «… having made the minimum efforts, for the minimum time to learn to carry out consciously the greatest possible intellectual work, to work effectively and vigorously …». The research materials will help others to be guided correctly in a complex structure of scientific results. It was offered to use these data when studying certain sections of natural sciences. In the course of learning specific disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, Philosophy, the VOF will help students to deepen their skills.
