TUTOR SUPPORT IN INSTITUTIONS OF EDUCATION AS A STRATEGY OF SPIRITUAL AND MORAL DEVELOPMENT OF A PERSON

Abstract
The article refers to the problem of tutor support in educational institutions as strategy of spiritual and moral development of personality; the essence and significance of tutor support is determined; components of tutor support as a system are described; possible forms of tutor support in the institutions of secondary and higher education are identified; the prospects for the implementation of tutor support for the spiritual and moral development of the individual are outlined. The purpose of the article is to identify the peculiarities of tutor support in educational institutions as a strategy of spiritual and moral development of personality in the process of realization of scientific and pedagogical project «School of Excellent Tutor». This research presents a model of tutor support for the spiritual and moral development of personality in educational institutions. We conduct the scientific and pedagogical project «School of Excellent Tutor» by analysis of traditions of tutoring, which relate to the interaction between subjects of education, theoretical review of literature, observation of existing forms of tutor support. This work allows us to build a system of tutor support, to emphasize its integrity and to identify one of the most important function of tutor support – the regulation of the behavior of the personality and the institute of education in general. We confirm that tutor support does not exist outside the sphere of values, formed as a result of the joint activity between tutor and tutee and expand opportunities for personal growth. As a conclusion, we note that the practical effectiveness of tutor support primarily depends on the readiness of the education system representatives to assume responsibility for ensuring the implementation of this kind of support at scientific, methodological and organizational levels.
