VEHICLE OPERATION: RELIABILITY TECHNICAL AND OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE AND OBJECTIVITY OF FORMATION OF TARIFFS

Abstract

Purpose. The purpose of the study is to determine the size of transportation tariffs that would ensure reproductive economic processes in the urban passenger transport system. In the process of achieving the goal, the following tasks were solved: regulatory documents on tariff formation for passenger transportation were studied; the reliability of the information on technical and operational indicators of the work of buses is established; the size of tariffs for passenger transportation in the city of Rivne is determined, the complexity of rational operation of rolling stock is analyzed. Methodology. The system approach provides an opportunity to evaluate in a complex the functioning of the market of urban passenger transport services as an object of study, as well as its individual aspects, the subject of study. In the process of research, the methods of analysis and modeling are used. As a result of the calculations, they received the optimal offer (transport facilities of the park) for certain technical and operational and financial and economic indica- tors. Results. Rate fare for city buses, formed on false technical and operational indicators. Analysis of the calculations presented by business shows that the runs of buses are inflated by almost a half times, and the volume of passenger transportation is underestimated almost twice. Significant reserves for improving the economic efficiency of passenger transport can also be achieved by optimizing the structure of the park and streamlining the route network. Originality. The research is oriented on the innovative-investment model of urban passenger transport development: increasing the efficiency of investment resources, resource conservation, environmental friendliness, and improving the quality of pas- senger transport. Practical value. Analysis of the calculations presented by the business shows large reserves in im- proving the efficiency of urban passenger transport at the expense of: organizational and technological, management and market factors, improving the route network and the structure of the park, as well as improving the legislative field in the area of ensuring the technical readiness of the fleet of rolling stock and the efficient functioning of the market city passenger transportation.
