DESENVOLVENDO COMPETÊNCIAS EM CURSO DE EDUCAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL POR MEIO DOS SETE PASSOS METODOLÓGICOS

Abstract

The current work deals with the development and application of teacher’s planning supported by the analysis of learning situations as presented by the Seven Steps Methodology through an action plan which contemplates guided educational measures in seven stages: (1) Context and Mobilization, (2) Definition of the Learning Activity; (3) Organization of the Learning Activity; (4) Coordination and Monitoring; (5) Evaluation of the Learning Activity; (6) Access to other references and (7) Synthesis and Application. A case study is explored, where there is the systematization of methodology aiming at developing competencies in professional education programs while providing subsidies for the student to put the acquired knowledge into practice, and then transforming knowledge into skills and competencies. Learning is accomplished by the creation of common situations, dealing with topics of student interests and knowledge. On completion of the experimentation performed, a reflection on the case study’s final product and of the effectiveness of the Seven Steps Methodology are presented.
