DUTIES OF THE NATIONAL POLICE IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article, based on an analysis of scientific views of scientists, the theoretical approaches to the interpretation of the concepts of "duty" and "legal obligation". Courtesy of the author’s vision regarding the interpretation of the term "legal obli- gation". It is proved that in general existing legislation properly regulate the current basic duties that police should perform to its activities meet its social purpose. Emphasized that the main obligation to the National Police is serving the interests of the Ukrainian people, to ensure its safe existence and development.
