Innovation European Union and Technopoles – preliminary characterization of the method used in the report innovation union scoreboard

Abstract
The aim of the article is to characterize the method of quantification level of innovation in the European Union. Framework analysis refers to the size of the innovation concept studies European countries and used quantifiers, as well as the strategy of stratification in the report Innovation Union Scoreboard 2013. Further shows selected results of measuring the level of innovation, leakage on the state of SMEs and creative solutions technopoles.
