КАТЕГОРІЇ ЧАСУ ТА ПРОСТОРУ У НАРАТИВНИХ МОЖЛИВИХ СВІТАХ: ДОСВІД НАРАТИВНО-СЕМІОТИЧНОГО АНАЛІЗУ

Abstract
The paper outlines the most significant narrative and semiotic mechanisms of the realization of text categories of time and space in the possible worlds in the 19th century French prosaic text from the point of view of narrative and semiotic text studies. The literary narrative temporal net is constructed by lexical semantic and lexical grammatical means that present different variations and correlations between events and/or actions in linear or nonlinear narratives. The literary narrative spatial net is formed by S-signals as such narrative configurations that contain information about spatial stratification of the story or geographical localization of narrative objects and subjects in relation to the author as creator of the narrative representation. For the purpose of determining the basic tendencies in forming and formatting the fantastic possible words in the novel “Aurélia ou le rêve et la vie” by the 19th century French author Gerard de Nerval the main conformities in generating the text possible worlds have been found out. It has been pointed out that in the novel under consideration the possible worlds are based on the idea of the character bi-world and its text referents is dichotomy reality vs dream.
