КУЛЬТУРА МОВЛЕННЯ ОПОВІДАЧІВ В АНГЛОМОВНІЙ ХУДОЖНІЙ ПРОЗІ

Abstract
Статтю присвячено особливостям культури мовлення оповідачів у англомовній художній літературі. Під новим кутом в статті висвітлюються питання про незвичні типи оповідачів. Дослідження виконано на матеріалі англомовних романів М. Твена "Пригоди Гекльберрі Фінна", Дж. Селінджера "Над прірвою в житі" и Дж. Вебстер "Довгоногий дядечко". Сучасну лінгвістику характеризує перехід від вивчення інтегрованої структури тексту до аналізу тексту як комунікативної системи. Художній текст є серединною ланкою у тріаді «адресант-повідомлення-адресат», відтак, його всебічний аналіз варто проводити з урахуванням особливостей літературної комунікації. У складі останньої розрізняють реальну комунікацію (автор – читач) і зображену/фіктивну комунікацію (персонаж – персонаж). Хоча спосіб організації оповіді через підставного оповідача слугував об’єктом дослідження численних наукових розвідок, і окремі його аспекти досить широко висвітлено у філологічній літературі, лінгвостилістичні особливості мови оповідача в сучасній англійській прозі ще не були предметом ґрунтовного вивчення. Актуальність статті зумовлена загальною спрямованістю сучасної лінгвістики на вивчення цілісного тексту в умовах літературної комунікації. Зміна характеру комунікації, що відбувається під час передачі функції оповідача наратору, на нашу думку, неминуче позначається на лінгвістичній структурі художнього тексту, з огляду на що актуальним убачається вивчення лінгвостилістичних аспектів ідентифікації наратора. The article focuses on the peculiarities of the narrator’s culture of speech in English prose. Narrative in the novels and the story is presented through narrators’ point of view. The present stage of linguistic research is characterized by an increased interest towards the problem connected with the study of peculiarities of narrators’ speech and its typical deviations in English prose. Despite the fact that the study of the problem was investigated by many scientists, the peculiarities of the narrator’s speech have not been considered. The aim of our article is to determine the stylistic peculiarities of the narrators’ speech, to define the sociolinguistic and stylistic peculiarities of the phonetic and grammatical deviations from the literary norm in the speech of the main characters. The article focuses on the peculiarities of children’s and teenager’s speech in foreign prose, deviations from literary speech. It also touches upon the problem of mispronunciation of words and grammatical mistakes in Huckleberry Finn’s speech in the novel of Mark Twain. It also touches upon the problem of the main characters’ speech: Judy Abbot’s speech in Jean Webster’s novel «Daddy-Long-Legs» and Holden Caulfield’s speech in J. Salinger’s novel «The Catcher in the Rye». Narrative in these novels is presented through teenager’s point of view and is characterized by all kinds of different deviations in English. The article represents the analyses of teenagers’ speech and the description of its standard deviations: phonetic, grammatical and syntactical used in the language of the main characters. The use of deviations in teenagers’ speech plays an important role in literature. The results of the research can serve as a theoretical and practical basis for further study of the peculiarities of the narrator’s speech. The prospects of investigation are to describe the peculiarities of the narrator’s speech in literature of other countries. The relevance of the chosen topic represents the description of the characteristics of narrator’s speech and its standard deviations. The use of the typical deviations in narrators’ speech plays an important role in literature. The choice of syntactical and stylistic means in narrator’s speech helps the author to show the world from the child’s or teenagers’ point of view. On the whole, the choice of the vocabulary depends on the theme of the novel, type of the narrator, and the environment of the character, through whose point of view the story is presented. The choice of such unusual narrators helps the author to broaden the readers’ outlook, to see the world from unexpected angle.
