МЕТАФОРИЧНА ЕКСПЛІКАЦІЯ КОНЦЕПТУ GLAMOUR В АНГЛОМОВНОМУ МАС-МЕДІЙНОМУ ДИСКУРСІ

Abstract
The article deals with peculiarities of metaphorical representation of the GLAMOUR concept in modern mass media discourse. The research has revealed two types of metaphors: I – personification (GLAMOUR IS A PERSON), II – reification (GLAMOUR IS A MATERIAL SUBSTANCE). The further study of conceptual projections – sources of metaphorical conceptualization of GLAMOUR allows to distinguish conceptual metaphors which make possible a detailed discussion and description of images associated with the GLAMOUR concept in modern mass media discourse.
