Model of would-be-teachers’ training for professional activity by means of cloud technologies in higher education institutions

Abstract

Cloud technologies application in the educational process is one of the promising directions of quality increasing, individualization and personalization of the educational process. It has been created the content and the structure of the model of would-be-teachers’ training for professional activity by means of the cloud technologies in higher education institutions. The model is represented by the motivational (involves the definition of the social order – qualitative training of would-be-teachers for professional activity), the organizational and contents (defines the conditions for the effective would-be-teachers’ training for professional activity by means of cloud technologies), operational (deals with the forms of trainings organization, methods, technologies and teaching aids, cloud services) and criterion-outcoming (monitoring of criteria for development of teachers’-to-be competences) blocks. It has been defined the conditions for the effective training of would-beteachers for professional activity by means of cloud technologies: professionally focused activity of teachers on application of cloud technologies during lectures and practical sessions, and would-be-teachers’ trainings in order to use cloud technologies in their own professional activity. The stages of the training of teachers’-to-be for professional activity by means of cloud technologies have been distinguished: exploration and systematization of knowledge in the sphere of information and communication technologies, in particular, cloud technologies; development of professionally significant personal qualities and communicative skills by means of cloud services; learning to choose network services based on cloud technologies in order to implement them into professional activity; mastering of the skills to create methodological support and to carry out professional activity on the basis of cloud technologies; developing of research and design skills by using cloud technologies. The criteria and the levels of competence development of would-beteachers have been identified: mastering and quality of knowledge (creative, productive, reconstructive, reproductive); professionally cognitive interests (high, medium, low); practical application of knowledge (high, medium, sufficient, low). The designed model will form the necessary general and professional competencies of would-be-teachers.
