Abstract
The authors define the educational risks associated with the influence of a disposal culture in education, and also consider the ratio of disposable culture and the trends towards demassification, individualisation of learning. It is noted that educational risks result in standardised educational programmes and students’ motivation for obtaining technological knowledge in the form of ready-made schemes, algorithms for solving various problems, tasks, etc. The technological approach extends both to the purpose, and to the content, and to the organisation, and to the system of evaluation and control of the learning process. The risk of cultural and spiritual monotony as a consequence of the education standardisation is threatened by the narrowing of the individual choice of the student and the teacher, the loss of value stability. Overcoming the negative consequences of educational risks in a disposal culture is facilitated by education destandardisation, a new approach to the characteristics of educational services, the transition to continuing education. The model of continuing education mostly corresponds to flexible employment, then the need of students for a significant amount of knowledge decreases, which makes relevant the need of specialists for a certain amount of basic knowledge that can become the basis of initial competencies. Here more suitable are not large training courses, but training, educational disciplines that prepare students for productive professional work.
