Possibilities of Distance Education Instillation for Part-Time Studies in Šiauliai College<br />

Abstract
Lifelong learning is the main factor for developing qualified, professionally skilled and flexible personalities. A lot of part-time students enter yearly their studies at Lithuanian higher education establishments for professional skills improving or requalifying retraining. Generally they already have job and family responsibilities. One of the main aims for higher education establishments is to create favourable study conditions by organizing distance education in various ways. Analysis of various dimensions of part-time students readiness for distance education is the main objective of this article.
