Psychological characteristics of image of «I-teacher» students

Abstract
The article is an attempt to give psychological characteristics of the image of «I am a teacher» teaching university students. Presented by copyright understanding of «self-concept» future teachers. Allocated and analyzed the components of the structure of the image «I am a teacher». The content and selected stages of the students’ image of «I am a teacher». Determined empirical indicators positive «self-image» of future teachers. «I-concept» future teachers is a complex dynamic system of student perceptions of himself as a person and an educational and professional activities in the relationship and interdependence of cognitive, emotional and behavioral values and structural components. Based on the comparison image-occupation with the self-image of the student formed a professional selfimage and awareness of its identity is the selected profession, forming a positive attitude to himself as the subject of modern educational and professional activities and future professional and industrial activity.
