Abstract
Beverage sector has lost ability to increase production, and consequently its position in the food economy is weakening. The reason for the stagnation is i.e. the fact that the beverages producers operate in the highly saturated market, which has entered a mature and relative stability stage. Sektor napojów utracił zdolność zwiększania produkcji, a w ślad za tym słabnie jego pozycja w gospodarce żywnościowej. Przyczyną stagnacji jest m.in. to, że producenci napojów działają na rynku, który osiągnął stan nasycenia, wkroczył w fazę dojrzałości i względnej stabilizacji.
