Abstract

El proceso metacognitivo de autorregulación surge de la necesidad de desentrañar los mecanismos del aprendizaje, sobre los cuales existe mucha discusión y una necesidad urgente de comprensión, ya que están involucrados en la actividad cotidiana del individuo que aprende. La búsqueda del conocimiento de los procesos metacognitivos y psicológicos que envuelven el aprendizaje nos dará una comprensión de cómo obtener un aprendizaje efectivo y de qué forma podemos lograr el proceso de autorregulación con el fin de minimizar las dificultades del aprender, ya que a menudo estas dificultades obstaculizan el proceso de desarrollo e impiden el avance de aprendizaje. El factor determinante es la comprensión de los mecanismos de aprendizaje, que son intrínsecos y extrínsecos para el alcance y conquista del autoaprendizaje. Por lo tanto, el aprender es mucho más que un proceso mecánico de la adquisición del conocimiento, es un camino lleno de placer y trabajo, donde la superación de los obstáculos debe suceder de una forma que proporcione el crecimiento intelectual y emocional.

Abstract

This paper aims to emphasize the need to think about the true inclusion of students with special needs. In this context, the aspects discussed are cultural, financial, physical and especially the professionals who are involved in it. Thus, it is possible to show that the public school has the ability to offer learning and facilitate the inclusion. By means of providing tailored instructional materials or courses to educators in order to meet new teaching practices, and adapting them to the school curriculum. Teacher education should be a continuous process and it is essential to consider the knowledge and value it in the inclusion process, paying attention to whether the teachers are prepared to work in the regular school system at public schools.

Abstract

The environment education has been a recurrent theme of discussion in global conferences, broadcast and schools. Nowadays, there is a huge concern about the environment awareness and the development of solid actions to preserve the environment, because the legal right to have an environment ecologically balanced has transcended for generations. Seeking to change the way people act, encouraging changes towardsthe environment preservation. Considering it a new fundamental concept, which is not isolated , and its globalization has been indispensable in the social move of the society and its historical context. The mainly purpose of this work is to show and check the importance of the Fundamental Rights and Environmental Rights connection, and the preservation of the balanced ecologically environment, having the teaching of educational environment as an important step in the process for the development of new conscious behavior of ethic environment. Presenting related aspects to formal and informal aspects of education which brings a conflicting way to develop projects and subjects which will be worked in a transversal way, and the importance of the general social changing, pointing to the citizenship concern. The result of the research points to a constant work among school, family and society focusing on changing the actions of these three pillars, as the mainly concern is the education of children, young and adults.

Abstract

This article presents results of the analysis of the records described in the journals of reflective teachers in extension project called “Virtual Community Spirituality in Education” differentiating modality of traditional courses. This experiment was performed at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul / UFRGS in 2012/2. Organized to happen in eight modules totaling 64 hours, was offered to teachers in the early grades and high school, in the distance mode completely, using the Moodle platform. How assumptions reflect choose from the writings of Zabalza (2004), and assess the following issues: How the reports in logbooks teachers can contribute to personal and professional development and characterize these as research instruments ? This analysis allowed us to verify the importance in building the “I / we” centered experiential approach, as beings in a constant process of training / professional and personal renewal, and how such contributions can be reflected in the educational context. The methodology used in this study was guided by the principles of qualitative research, which highlights the category “feelings” as most important, with the most significant findings: feelings of belonging; aesthesia and feelings of contentment; enriched educational experience / renewed; plurality / diversity looks that complement and enrich each other through trade.

Abstract

This study demonstrates and classifies the production of theses and dissertation of the post-graduation programs in the national context, from 1990 to 2012 that articulate aspects pertaining to health education full of recyclable garbage collector in a position of vulnerability. This is a descriptive and bibliographical investigation, in which the Bank of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) was used as a source. After reading and analyzing 34 dissertations and 03 theses, and considering the common traits of the researches, they were classified by the following thematic categories: 1: Identity of the garbage collector and his/her activity; 2: The collector mental and body health and the educational process and category; 3: The process of citizenship and how this type of professional seen by the society. Through the analysis, we could identify the thematic visibility as well as the tendencies and gaps of the knowledge produced, related to the garbage collector’s health in the Brazilian society.

Abstract

Cuando se piensa en turismo, en los datos estadísticos, en los productos turísticos o en su evolución a lo largo del tiempo, se percibe la posibilidad de establecer una relación entre el fenómeno turístico y las visitas a museos. El objetivo de este trabajo son los museos científicos y tecnológicos, en este caso, el Museo de Ciencias y Tecnología de la Pontificia Universidad Católica do Rio Grande do Sul. Se consideró como primer objetivo determinar el perfil del visitante/turista del MCT-PUCRS, a través de preguntas que identificasen su grado de escolaridad, procedencia, condición económica, algunos hábitos de viaje y sus posibles motivaciones para su visita al museo. Para eso, se elaboró un cuestionario con 21 preguntas cerradas y dos abiertas, aplicadas en periodo de tres meses, con un total de 384 entrevistados representantes del grupo que se denominó como visitante/ turista, excluyendo así al público académico por excelencia. Para tanto, este estudio se apoyó en conceptos turísticos como: tipología de los turistas, post turismo, demanda turística, comunicación y marketing. Se buscó, también trazar un paralelo entre la evolución del turismo y la estructuración de los papeles asumidos por la museología a través de la historia, como una respuesta a las necesidades de una sociedad dinámica.

Abstract

This article presents the main topics of the research concerning the creation of the Federal University of Latin American Integration (Unila Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-Americana ) , which is located in Foz do Iguaçu in the Triple Frontier between Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, in relation to Brazilian foreign policy, especially regarding the process of regional integration which has been fostered by Brazil from 90s. The investigation sought to determine the potential contribution of the education internationalization through the creation of Unila for regional integration. It has to be considered that the success of regional integration processes depends on the existence of certain conditions which are generated from certain mechanisms, as pointed by Joseph Nye.

Abstract

Environmental education assumes an important role in the search for a better world, higher quality of life by providing sustainable development, critical conscience and responsibility towards social and environmental issues. Considering the importance of the new generations in the maintenance and sustainable use of natural resources, environmental education has assumed increasing value in the consolidation of a common language, collectivized, on environmental issues. Nowadays, with the technological changes that enabled the emergence of a network society, connected and in constant interaction, numerous forms of articulation and mobilization, in this sense, become possible. This paper presents a research project and extension called Agape, focusing on activities and issues related in the development and maintenance of a portal containing information about the environment, but mainly seeking to demonstrates how this process can assist in learning and student involvement by placing into practice the technical content applied environmental education, as a result bringing significant returns to society.

Abstract

Scientific journals are important vehicles for knowledge dissemination. It is through them that researchers report the results of their researches, being recognized, read and evaluated by the scientific community. Great influence factor for the dissemination and visibility of the researches is the graphic design of these journals. Such design needs to be appropriate to the content presented, the media used and the defined audience. This article presents a publishing project that has been made for Revista Competência Senac-RS. Responsible for the publishing project of this magazine since its first edition in 2008, the authors of this study report how bibliographic research guided the design decisions and made possible the definition of an editorial product appropriate for a printed scientific journal.

Abstract

Ordering a set of objects according to their relevance to certain criteria has become an expensive task to the computational point of view due to the large amount of information available (web). Combine rankings, which were previously made, helps to reduce such costs. However, this process has found several limitations in its application, such as different access structures, heterogeneous rankings (complete and partial), a distinction of rankings importance (automatic and manual), among others. We propose in this paper a model of Fusion rankings based on the Preference Analysis which aims to overcome those limitations without impacting the performance of the resulting ranking. The model can be used in web information retrieval applications (meta-search). The experiments results made possible to validate the model of ranking fusionas well as its applicability in web information retrieval.

Abstract

Social interactions have taken prominent position in studies devoted to the investigation of processes and cultural products. In tourism, these interactions show also interfaces with the question of hospitality. Aiming to discuss commercial domestic guest houses as an object of interdisciplinary research, this paper proposed two moments of reflection. At first, we attempted to define the concept presented by reviewing theoretical approaches and a brief historical survey. Secondly, we argued about the possibilities of investigation of these objects according to the dramaturgic approach of social interactions proposed by Goffman (2011). Finally, we argue that procedural approaches of objects like this are crucial not only for understanding the tourism phenomenon, but also for its observation and appropriation as a way to research aspects, behaviors and sociocultural dynamics in a scenario so strongly marked by mobility and fluidity of relationships.

Abstract

Environmental Audit is a process managed by a lead auditor and run by a team previously defined, in order to evaluate performance, environmental commitment and legal compliance of the policy of an organization. The present work aims to promote understanding of Environmental Audit, through conceptualization of it, based on what scholars in this area say about it, and to address the mainstreaming of the Environmental Audit as a tool for environmental management, explaining the relationship between this and environmental licensing, as well as the different types of audit. Thus, we provide some of the various concepts in the literature on the topic investigated in this study. Thus, through the analysis of secondary data and due to the wide range of information about the subject, it was possible, in this study, to obtain a greater theoretical and analytical framework to collaborate to understand the theme of the Environmental Audit and its role in preserving and conserving biodiversity.

Abstract

The Special Program of Undergraduate Teacher Training for Vocational Education (PEG), at the Federal University of Santa Maria, meets the demands of pedagogical training for professionals who work or intend to work as teachers in Vocational Education. The search for improvement in teaching is unanimous among those who enter the course, however, through this research we seek to analyze the contribution of PEG in the student’s professional life as a teacher already active in teaching. For this, we sought answers that could make us think about this work through a qualitative and quantitative survey with students of the1st and 3rd semesters. We concluded that the students enter the course without having the objectives of the program clear, but hoping that the course gives them techniques and methodologies for improving their professional performance while facing the classrooms. We can notice the misinformation of the students regarding the course objectives. Even with the presentation of the course, which is done to every new students, the role of PEG is not clear. Even the count of dropouts each semester, not covered by this research, can be one way to check the contentment and satisfaction of the students in the program.

Abstract

El estudio se refiere al ocio de los niños hospitalizados en la sala de pediatría del Hospital Regional de Currais Novos/ RN a través de actividades lúdicas desarrolladas por estudiantes de la carrera de turismo de la UFRN en la sala de juegos del hospital, sirviendo como laboratorio de experiencias prácticas. El estudio tiene como objetivo investigar la contribución de las actividades recreativas en el proceso de recuperación del niño hospitalizado.La metodología utilizada para conseguir los datos necesarios han sido la investigación bibliográfica , la observación, la elaboración y aplicación con los niños y sus acompañantes, a partir de un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Se trata de un enfoque cualitativo en el que se investigó la percepción de los niños y los cuidadores que asisten a la sala de juegos de la sala de pediatría del hospital referido. De esta forma, después de la finalización del estudio, se concluyó que las actividades recreativas que se realizaron en la sala de juegos hospitalar tienen un papel fundamental en el proceso de desarrollo de los niños hospitalizados influyendo positivamente en su recuperación. El espacio cuenta con una gran aceptación de los niños y las madres, quienes se muestran agradecidos por la iniciativa de los animadores de juegos ,función que se viene desarrollando por los estudiantes de turismo de la UFRN.

Abstract

This paper suggests a reflection on the growth and quality of Technological College Courses in Brazil. The analysis includes a review, and features the contextualization of Technological College Courses in our country. From an approach to quality in higher education, their evolution in terms of growth over the last ten years is presented based on data extracted from the reports of the Ministry of Education MEC / Inep. In the end, it presents a comparison between courses of this modality and bachelor degree programs in Engineering in Brazil. This parallel aims to evaluate and to compare some isomorphic indicators such as Enade, CPC and CC which are recognized by the Brazilian academic community as indicators measuring the quality of higher education, used by MEC / Inep to rate degree courses in Brazil.
